Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan will lead a delegation to Shanghai tomorrow to attend the fourth Hong Kong-Shanghai financial co-operation working meeting.
The delegation will meet Shanghai government departments, regulatory bodies and exchanges representatives to discuss ways to deepen financial co-operation in cross-border renminbi business, banking, securities and insurance.
The delegation will also call on Shanghai's Vice-Mayor Tu Guangshao and visit the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone.
Permanent Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury (Financial Services) Au King-chi, and representatives from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Securities & Futures Commission, Office of the Commissioner of Insurance and Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited will join the delegation.
