Gregory So to visit NZ

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So will visit New Zealand for four days, to promote closer ties between Hong Kong and that country.
 
On August 5 he will meet Hong Kong people working, studying and living in New Zealand in Auckland, and then address a Connect Hong Kong business seminar "Hong Kong - The Best Platform for Business Engagement with China and Asia" that the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association organised.
 
He will also speak at the Hong Kong Festival in Auckland opening reception, co-organised by the same group and the Sydney Economic & Trade Office.
 
That evening, Mr So will attend a boardroom dinner the Asia New Zealand Foundation organised.
 
On August 6, Mr So will visit Wellington to meet senior government officials, including Minister for Commerce, Minister for Broadcasting & Minister for Consumer Affairs Craig Foss, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Finance Bill English, Wellington Mayor Celia Wade-Brown, House of Representatives Speaker David Carter, and Minister for Economic Development Steven Joyce.
 
That evening, he will speak at the Hong Kong Festival in Wellington opening reception and attend a dinner with members of the Hong Kong New Zealand Parliamentary Friendship Group.
