FS to visit Cambodia, Myanmar

Financial Secretary John Tsang will lead a delegation of 20 members from Hong Kong's business, financial services and professional sectors to visit Cambodia and Myanmar from June 24 to June 29.
 
The visit aims to promote trade and economic development, allowing Hong Kong to tap into the emerging Southeast Asian market.
 
During his stay in Phnom Penh from June 24 to 26, Mr Tsang will meet with Cambodian government officials and visit business associations.
 
He will visit Myanmar from June 27 to 29, and will meet people and officials in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw to better understand the economic outlook, investment environment and business opportunities in the country.
 
He will also address business luncheons in Phnom Penh and Yangon co-organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Singapore.
 
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on June 29. In his absence, Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So will act as Financial Secretary.
