Financial Secretary John Tsang expects the fluctuation in the Hong Kong and global financial markets to continue, as the eurozone debt crisis remains unsettled.
 
Speaking at a media session concluding his Taiwan visit today, Mr Tsang said the recent loss in Hong Kong shares was expected, warning investors to be vigilant.
 
He said he included measures to alleviate the situation in his last Budget, as he anticipated the global economies would remain unstable.
 
On cultural exchange with Taiwan, Mr Tsang said he hopes a Hong Kong promotion will be held in Taipei later this year.
