The Government has reappointed Prof Arthur Li as Council for Sustainable Development Chairman for a two-year term from March 1.
Council members for the new term have also been appointed and represent a balanced mix of stakeholders from different sectors of the community.
The body advises the Government on priority areas for promoting sustainable development that will integrate environmental, social and economic perspectives.
It also seeks to encourage community participation and promote awareness and understanding of sustainable development principles.
