The Advisory Committee on Recycling Fund has approved seven applications involving $12 million.
All are under the Enterprise Support Programme involving the recycling of construction waste, waste plastics, small waste electrical appliances and used cooking oil.
One fund recipient plans to obtain an environmental management system certification for his recycling business.
Another plans to purchase equipment to boost the safety and operational efficiency of his business.
Fifty-five applications involving $65 million have been approved since the fund’s launch in 2015.
