Park unveils birds’ secrets

December 16, 2016

Natural wonder

Natural wonder:  The Wetland Park is now holding its annual Bird Watching Festival.

The Wetland Park opened its annual Bird Watching Festival today, with “Secrets in the World of Birds” as this year's theme.

Running until April, the event will look at the many interesting adaptive features and behaviours of birds.

The newly-renovated Gallery in the Park features new interactive games showcasing the stories of "wetland monsters" which led to the formation of diverse human myths and culture.

Visitors can create their own monster images.

They can also learn to build Lego models of the park's more famous residents, like the black-faced spoonbill and crocodile “Pui Pui”.
