The Water Supplies Department today extended its water-efficiency labelling scheme to flow controllers for water taps and showers.
A test certificate issued by a recognised laboratory is required for registration.
Since the department launched the scheme in September 2009, 624 products - including bathing showers, water taps, washing machines and urinal equipment - have registered.
There are four grades under the scheme, with Grade 1 being the most water-efficient.
Registered products have a label stating their water-consumption level and efficiency.
