The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department released four sea turtles into the wild today, which had been in the care of Ocean Park.
These included two juvenile and one adult green turtles, and a juvenile hawksbill turtle - both of which are endangered species.
The adult green turtle was hatched from a batch of eggs collected in Sham Wan on Lamma Island in 2001. The juveniles were found on beaches between October 2012 and last month.
The department tagged each turtle with a microchip before their release and attached satellite transmitters to their backs, to collect data for conservation purposes.
People should call the department on 1823 if they find any turtles.
