The report shows that total emissions for six key air pollutants during the year remained more or less the same as in the previous year, with variations of  -2% to 2%.

Those pollutants included 32,700 tonnes of sulphur dioxide, 115,000 tonnes of nitrogen oxides, 6,130 tonnes of respirable suspended particulates, 4,840 tonnes of fine suspended particulates, 32,200 tonnes of volatile organic compounds and 68,300 tonnes of carbon monoxide.
