Anglers wishing to indulge their hobby in local reservoirs during the coming fishing season must apply for a licence from the Water Supplies Department.
The licence is valid for three years at a fee of $24. Reservoirs are open for fishing from September 1 to March 31 of the following year.
Applications can be made during office hours at the department’s customer enquiry centres in Wan Chai and Mong Kok. They can also be made by post to the department’s headquarters at 43/F, Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
