Secretary for the Civil Service Joshua Law called on legislators today to approve a proposed pay rise for civil servants before the Legislative Council breaks for the summer recess.
Mr Law said he hopes the LegCo Finance Committee will process and approve all funding applications, including the item on civil service pay adjustment, at its July 19 meeting.
"I think most LegCo members do have public interests in mind," he said.
