Raymond Tam to visit NZ, Australia

Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam will depart on September 20 for a five-day visit to New Zealand and Australia.

 

In New Zealand, Mr Tam will meet the country’s electoral body representatives and other officials to exchange views on election-related matters and to learn more about the country’s parliamentary operation.

 

Mr Tam will also meet with business people there to promote Hong Kong's advantages and opportunities arising from the National 13th Five-Year Plan and the Belt & Road Initiative.

 

In Sydney, Australia, he will speak at the Hong Kong-Australia Business Association (National) Business Awards Gala Dinner.

 

Mr Tam will return to Hong Kong in the evening on September 24.

 

Under Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Ronald Chan will be Acting Secretary during Mr Tam’s absence.
