HK scores another medal

Chief Executive CY Leung today congratulated Hong Kong Paralympian Chan Yui-chong for winning bronze in the women's wheelchair epee fencing in Rio.

 

Her achievement brings Hong Kong's Paralympic medal tally in Rio to three, including a gold and another bronze.

 

Mr Leung said: "With her exceptional skills, Chan Yui-chong has triumphed in the competition. Chan won a medal in the same category for the fourth consecutive Games. Her perseverance is admirable."

 

Acting Secretary for Home Affairs Florence Hui also praised Chan and encouraged Hong Kong Paralympians to keep up their efforts and continue striving for excellence in the coming events.
