Chief Secretary Carrie Lam will visit Vietnam from August 15 to 18 to further strengthen Hong Kong's bilateral ties with the country.
She will meet senior officials in Ho Chi Minh City and meet with Hong Kong people living there.
She will also speak at a business luncheon and visit a fashion accessory factory owned by a Hong Kong company.
In Hanoi she will call on senior officials, attend a concert by the Asian Youth Orchestra, visit heritage sites, a university and an apparel factory owned by a Hong Kong company.
Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung will act as Chief Secretary during Mrs Lam's absence.
