Acting Chief Executive John Tsang has called on Hong Kong to boost its attractiveness to tourists.
He made the plea ahead of today's Executive Council Meeting, citing falling visitor numbers.
He said currency depreciation and the simplifying of visa application procedures in neighbouring economies are drawing more tourists to those areas.
Hong Kong Disneyland will launch a new attraction this week to draw more visitors, he added.
