Poll cards mailed to electors

February 19, 2016

The Registration & Electoral Office has mailed poll cards to 940,000 registered electors to inform them where they should cast their votes for the Legislative Council New Territories East geographical constituency by-election on February 28.

A total of 146 ordinary polling stations will be open that day and electors can only vote at the polling station specified on the poll card.

Electors can also log onto the Online Voter Information Enquiry System to check the name and address of the designated polling station, its location and other information such as polling date and hours.

The office reminded electors to bring their identity card to the designated polling station along with their poll card.

Ordinary polling stations and the dedicated polling station set up at Tin Sum Police Station will be open from 7.30am to 10.30pm. For the dedicated polling stations in penal institutions, polling hours will be from 9am to 4pm.
