The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link co-location arrangement is still under scrutiny, Chief Justice Rimsky Yuen said today.
Before departing for Shanghai and Beijing, Mr Yuen told reporters officials from both sides have different concerns, including those over immigration, border examinations and customs' issues.
He added that the arrangement must comply with the Basic Law and different aspects must be considered in detail.
Mr Yuen will visit Beijing with Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung tomorrow, to discuss the issue with officials from the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office.
