The Registration & Electoral Office has approved four organisations to conduct exit polls at designated polling stations during the 2015 District Council Election.
They are the Hong Kong Research Association, the University of Hong Kong Public Opinion Programme, the Association of Community in Hong Kong and Hong Kong Society Monitor.
These organisations have undertaken not to release the results before the polls close to any candidate contesting in any constituency, any person or organisation which has publicly expressed support for any candidate contesting, or any organisation with members contesting in any constituency, covered by the exit poll.
All approved exit poll interviewers are required to wear an identification badge showing clearly the identity of the organisation conducting the poll and the interviewer's name during the conduct of the exit poll.
