The Chief Executive has appointed six new members and reappointed 10 incumbent members to the Equal Opportunities Commission.
The new members Ivan Chan, Prof Susanne Choi, Elizabeth Law, Juan Leung, Shirley Marie and Yu Chui-yee will serve on the commission for two years starting May 20.
The Government said it looks forward to the concerted efforts of all the members, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr York Chow, to take forward the work to promote equal opportunities and eliminate discrimination in the community in accordance with the four existing anti-discrimination ordinances.
Incumbent and retiring members were also thanked for their contribution to promoting equal opportunities in the past two years.
