The Non-official Members of the Executive Council have expressed their support for the Police operation to clear the Admiralty protest site.
In a statement issued tonight, they said the Police's professional, restrained and highly transparent enforcement action has facilitated a smooth operation so far.
They said traffic and public transport services will soon return to normal and public order will be restored.
They urged the public to express views on constitutional development through legal means with a view to realising the people's wish to select the Chief Executive by universal suffrage.
