Chief Executive CY Leung met National Development & Reform Commission Vice Chairman Xu Xianping in Beijing today to discuss the country’s upcoming 13th Five-Year Plan.
Mr Leung said the 12th Five-Year Plan has a section dedicated to policies supporting Hong Kong’s development.
He thanked the Central Government for its support.
The Hong Kong Government has several committees to conduct comprehensive discussions on the next Five-Year Plan, he added.
Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung, Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam and Secretary for Development Paul Chan also attended the meeting.
