The 2014 final registers for the Village Representative Election and Kaifong Representative Election are available for public inspection.
The registers can be inspected during office hours at the Electoral Registration Officer's office at the Home Affairs Department, 30/F Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai.
People can also inspect the registers for individual districts at the offices of the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers in the District Offices.
The 2015 Village Representative Election and Kaifong Representative Election will be held in January. The nomination period will be from November 14 to 27.
The Electoral Affairs Commission today released the final guidelines on election-related activities in respect of the Rural Representative Election.
The commission said those who intend to stand for election should familiarise themselves with the guidelines and the electoral legislation and strictly abide by them.
