The Central Government Offices’ East Wing Forecourt is expected to reopen on September 10, based on the progress of construction work on the perimeter fence.

The Administration Wing said today the work has required more time than expected to complete due to the weather, causing a postponement of the reopening.

It said people should continue using alternative routes via Tamar Park or the escalators and elevators connecting the elevated walkway to Harcourt Road and Tim Mei Avenue to access the Legislative Council Complex and the staff entrance on the East Wing's second floor.
