Seven village representative by-election vacancies will be open for nominations from April 17 to April 30.
 

The Home Affairs Bureau gazetted the nomination period for the by-election today, including four resident representatives for Shek Kiu Tau, Sai O, Tong Sheung Tsuen and Shung Ching San Tsuen (II), and three indigenous inhabitant representatives for Nai Chung, Lo Wai and Shek Wu Tong Tsuen.
 

Nomination forms must be submitted in person to the Returning Officer by April 30.
 

A poll will be held on May 25 if there is more than one validly nominated candidate for the same village, for which eligible voters will receive a polling notice.
