Hong Kong enterprises investing in the Mainland is a win-win situation, Chief Executive CY Leung says.

Visiting Shantou today on his two-day visit to Guangdong, Mr Leung said such activity boosts economic development in both places, and creates opportunities for Hong Kong’s younger generation.
 

He also met with Shantou Municipal Committee Secretary Chen Maohui, and told him the Hong Kong Government would spare no effort to sustain Hong Kong’s advantages by maintaining its core values, including the rule of law, further improving the economy and people's livelihoods, and strengthening its ties with the Mainland.
 

He also toured a company that produces semiconductors and other electronic goods, and learned about the ways the local government supports technology businesses.
