Chief Executive CY Leung will pay a four-day duty visit to Beijing to meet with state leaders and brief them on Hong Kong's latest economic, social and political developments.
He will also call on State Council Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office Director Wang Guangya.
He will meet with officials from the National Development & Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Finance. He will also meet with Hong Kong people who work and do business in Beijing.
Director of the Chief Executive's Office Edward Yau, Director of Information Services Michael Wong, Director of Information Services (Designate) Patrick Nip, the CE's Private Secretary Carlson Chan. tje CE's Senior Special Assistant Chan Kin-ping, and Assistant Director (Media) Nick Au Yeung will accompany Mr Leung.
He will leave on December 16 and return to Hong Kong on the evening of December 19. During his absence, Financial Secretary John Tsang will be the Acting Chief Executive.
