The nomination period for the fourth term Chief Executive Election will start tomorrow and run until February 29.
The Electoral Affairs Commission said today a nomination form must be subscribed by at least 150 Election Committee members. Each member can nominate one candidate only.
The candidate must be a Hong Kong permanent resident who is a Chinese citizen with no right of abode in any foreign country, must be at least 40 years old and have ordinarily resided in Hong Kong for a continuous period of not less than 20 years.
Candidates should submit the form in person to the Returning Officer, 10/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai.
