Customs bound:  Postmaster General Clement Cheung will become Commissioner of Customs & Excise from September 1.

Senior appointments announced

Postmaster General Clement Cheung will become Commissioner of Customs & Excise from September 1.
 
He succeeds Richard Yuen who will become Permanent Secretary for Food & Health (Health) to replace the retiring Sandra Lee.
 
Deputy Secretary for Development (Works) Jessie Ting will succeed Mr Cheung as Postmaster General.
 
Secretary for the Civil Service Denise Yue said the appointees are seasoned Administrative Officers with rich experience in public administration and proven leadership and management skills.
 
“I have every confidence that they will continue to serve the community with professionalism and dedication in their new capacities, and ably lead their offices to meet the challenges ahead."
 
She thanked Ms Lee for her 37 years of service.
