CE seeks Policy Address views

July 28, 2011
Chief Executive Donald Tsang will launch a public consultation on his upcoming Policy Address, which will focus on housing, the wealth gap and the aging population.

The consultation will launch on August 1. Apart from consultation sessions and forums, there will be a designated website accepting feedback.

In a promotion video to be uploaded on to the Chief Executive's Facebook page Upper Albert Road, Mr Tsang said he and his team work closely to establish policies for Hong Kong’s long-term development.

He said he will propose short-, medium- and long-term policies in the Policy Address to solve issues relating to housing and the wealth gap, and to improve the retirement protection scheme and offer better support to the elderly.

He urged the public to voice its views on these and other Hong Kong issues in the consultation exercise.
