*
Immigration Department

Immigration Department officers have arrested 11 illegal workers and their four employers in two operations.

From 7am to 5.45pm yesterday, Immigration Task Force officers raided 12 locations, including restaurants, elderly homes and a garbage depot.

They arrested 10 female illegal workers, aged 23 to 50. Six had forged Hong Kong identity cards. One man and two women, aged 33 to 58, believed to be their employers, were also arrested.

In the second operation officers joined Police to arrest a 31-year-old female illegal worker, along with a 47-year-old person believed to have employed her in a retail shop.
