Police have added a murder charge to a July 8 Sau Mau Ping robbery case.

A 44-year-old woman was found lying unconscious with head injuries on a staircase on Hiu Kwong Street near Hiu Lai Court at 11.30pm that day and later died. The injuries are believed to have been sustained when she was pushed to the floor while being robbed.

A post-mortem examination conducted today found she sustained serious head injuries. Further reports are pending before cause of death can be confirmed.
