Litterbug jailed for assault
*

A litterer was jailed two weeks and fined $2,500 by Tsuen Wan Magistracy today for assaulting a Food & Environmental Hygiene Department officer.

 

He was caught littering on Ho Pui Street, Tsuen Wan, on March 7. However, he refused to co-operate with the officer and assaulted him.

 

He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.
