Two killed in motorcycle-van collision

A van driver has been arrested after a collision with a motorcycle in which a 41-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were killed.

 

The 49-year-old van driver was travelling along Tai Po Road Sha Tin Heights Section towards Kowloon at about 3.10am when his van collided with the motorcycle in the opposite lane near No. 8500.

 

The motorcycle driver and his passenger were sent to Prince of Wales Hospital where they were certified dead at 4.01am.

 

The van driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.
