Police seek info after newborn body's found
*
Hong Kong Police

Police are appealing for information after the body of a newborn was found in Sai Kung.

At about 1pm, a man found a baby inside a blue plastic bucket placed outside his home at Kwun Mun Fishermen Village on Hong Kin Road and reported it to the Police.

Officers found the baby girl, still with her umbilical cord, inside a black plastic bag in the bucket. She was certified dead at the scene.

A post-mortem will be conducted on Monday.

The Police are following up, and appeal to the baby's next-of-kin and members of the public who may have information to offer to contact the investigating officers on 2352 9460.
