Woman dies, 3 injured in Sai Kung crash

A 31-year-old woman has died after the car she was riding in crashed into a public light bus on Hiram's Highway in Sai Kung.

 

At about 5.50am, a 40-year-old man was driving a car on Hiram's Highway towards Kowloon. Near Pak Wai, his car  slammed into a public light bus travelling on the opposite carriageway.

 

The car driver and woman riding in the car with him were sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital. The passenger was certified dead at 6.37am. The 47-year-old male driver of the public light bus and a 51-year-old female passenger were also sent to the hospital with slight injuries.
