Murder suspect

Murder suspect: An Asian male of medium build with short black hair is wanted.

*

Police are offering a reward of $300,000 for information leading to a murder of a 73-year-old expatriate man in Yuen Long in November 2003. An Asian male is wanted in connection with the case.

The elderly man was found dead in his bedroom at his home in Kam Hing Wai, Pat Heung at about 2.45pm on November 22, 2003.

He had died of multiple stab wounds. Police found signs of ransacking in the house and a pair of scissors inside the flat.

The man was last seen shopping in a Kam Tin supermarket with an Asian male, aged about 28 to 33, about 1.7 metres tall, of medium build, with short black hair.

The reward offered by the Police is valid until April 7, 2008. The Police will determine whether it will be paid either in full or pro-rata to any person or shared among people giving information leading to the arrest and satisfactory prosecution of the killer.

Information can be sent to any police station, or by mail to General Post Office Box No.999, or by fax to 2520 2828. People with information can also call 2666 4475 or 2666 4476, or click here.
