Teen murdered in Sau Mau Ping

Police are investigating the murder of a 15-year-old boy in Sau Mau Ping last night.

 

About 10.40pm, a 19-year-old man told police his 15-year-old friend had been attacked by about 10 people with iron bars as they were walking outside Tower Three of Garden Estate Lotus Tower. The assailants then fled towards Luen On Street.

 

The younger teen sustained serious injuries to his feet and was sent to the United Christian Hospital. He was later transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he was certified dead at 2.40 this morning.

 

A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow.The Kowloon East Regional Crime Unit is investigating.
