Taxi driver dies in Ngau Tau Kok accident

A 54-year-old taxi driver was killed in an Ngau Tau Kok traffic accident this morning.

 

Around 11.41am, the man was driving his taxi westbound on Eastern Road. He reportedly lost control of the car and it fell into a stretch of road under repair near a lampost.

 

The driver was found unconscious and sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he was certified dead at 12.18pm.

 

Anyone who saw the accident or has information is asked to call the Kowloon East special traffic investigation team on 2305 7606 or 2305 7500.
