Wounding reclassified as murder

*
Hong Kong Police

Police have reclassified the November 29 Kwai Chung wounding case as murder as the 72-year-old victim has died.

The man was found injured about 7pm that day in a Hing Fong Road shopping arcade. He said he had been punched in the head from behind and the assailant fled after the victim fell to the ground.

He died in Princess Margaret Hospital on December 4. A post-mortem examination found his death was linked to head injuries.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Police on 2410 2358 or 2410 2200.
