Man jailed for fake banknotes

Hong Kong Police

A 30-year-old Indian man has been jailed a year by the District Court for holding counterfeit banknotes.

 

Police intercepted him in a Tsim Sha Tsui building last July and found 13 fake $500 notes.

 

He admitted to the charge and was sentenced today.
