Insider dealing found in Chinney Alliance case
*

Chinney Alliance Group director Joseph Lau has been found to have engaged in insider dealing.

Chaired by Justice McMahon, the Insider Dealing Tribunal in a report to the Financial Secretary concluded that insider dealing was found in relation to the group's listed securities.

The tribunal will hear representations to determine the amount of profit gained or loss avoided to make consequential orders and penalties.

The Chinney inquiry involves two implicated parties and 19 witnesses, and 28 hearing days.
