Caution urged over suspicious website

The Monetary Authority has warned of a fraudulent website with the domain name www.icbc-online.com.

 

The website looks very similar to the official Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (Asia) website. The bank has clarified it has no connection with the suspicious site.

 

The bank has reported the case to Police for further investigation.

 

Anyone who has provided personal information to the website or has conducted any financial transactions through it should contact Police at 2860 5012 and bank on 2887 0349.
