Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide case in Tuen Mun involving a 44-year-old man who is believed to have jumped to his death after attacking his 41-year-old wife with a chopper.

About 3pm today Police received a report that the man was lying unconscious on the podium of Leung Kit House in Leung King Estate. He was certified dead by ambulancemen.

Police later found his wife lying in a pool of blood at their home in the building, and also found their five-year-old daughter there.

The woman, with several stab wounds, was confirmed dead at scene, and the girl was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for observation with no apparent injuries.
