Community service order for child porn offence

*
Hong Kong Police

A 22-year-old man was today sentenced to 160 hours' community service order for possession of child pornography.

Officers of the Commercial Crime Bureau's Technology Crime Division conducted an operation against child pornography beginning on March 1. The man was arrested when a total of 6,012 child pornography images were found in his computer at his home at Hoi Shing Road in Tsuen Wan.

The man pleaded guilty to the charge on September 13 and he was handed the community service order at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts today.
