23 Mainlanders arrested in vice raids
*
Hong Kong Police

Police have arrested 23 mainland women, aged 18 to 51, in an anti-vice operation in Sham Shui Po.

Twelve known blackspots in the district were checked from 2pm to 10pm yesterday.

The women were arrested for breaching their conditions of stay, and 19 were apprehended for soliciting for an immoral purpose.

All of them will appear in North Kowloon Magistracy today.

Police reiterated that more operations will be conducted to stem vice activity.
