Hong Kong people advised not to visit Iraq
*

The Government advises Hong Kong residents not to go to Iraq or nearby areas in view of the situation there. The Security Bureau and Immigration Department are monitoring the latest developments.

Those who are already in Iraq or nearby areas should consider leaving as soon as possible for their own safety. They may contact the relevant Chinese embassy or consulate general for assistance.

They may also call the Immigration Department's 24-hour hotline, (852) 2829 3010.

People abroad or who plan to go to places that may be affected by an outbreak of war should pay heed to the latest developments as well as their personal safety.
