Poor communication claims refuted
*

Secretary for Commerce, Industry & Technology John Tsang has rejected claims of insufficient communication between the Government and non-governmental organisations.

He said he is willing to meet them before the WTO's 6th Ministerial Conference if they clearly identify what topics they are interested in.

He has met with the People's Alliance on MC6 more than six times this year and the hosting of Roundtable Forum on Sunday was in response to their request.

"So we have had three hours of, I would call, pretty decent discussion, and that counts as part of our communication."

Mr Tsang said all communication should be conducted in a civil and orderly manner because this is what Hong Kong people expect.
