LPG ceiling prices to drop
*
Electrical & Mechanical Services Department

Liquefied-petroleum gas ceiling prices will drop 14 to 15 cents a litre, to range from $3.33 to $3.74 a litre from September 1.

The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department said the adjustment reflects the movement of the LPG international price in August.

Prices are adjusted according to a specified pricing formula with two elements - the LPG international price and operating price. The latter is adjusted on the first day of February every year, according to the movement in Composite Consumer Price Index in the previous year.
