Shenzhen River regulation planned
*
Lands Department

Regulation work will be conducted to 5,660 square metres of foreshore and seabed of the Shenzhen River and the confluence of the waterway and Ping Yuen River to ease flooding and enhance the environment.

Works will start in early 2012 and be completed by mid-2017. The extent of the area affected was gazetted in a government notice today.

The notice and its related plan are posted on boards near the site. People can check the plan on Lands Department's website or at the North District Office.

Anyone who considers they have an interest, right or easement over the area involved can submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20/F North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, by September 23.
